Our Activities

Murulia An-Noor Society

Free Education

Murulia An-Noor Society believes that education is a fundamental child right and a powerful tool to overcome life’s challenges. Here, we are committed to improving education for marginalized children in Purulia. Many children from underserved areas struggle to afford schooling expenses. Our mission is to provide free quality education and study materials to ease the financial burden on their families. We also offer financial support, ensuring no child is deprived of their right to education and a brighter future.

Health Check-up Camp

Living a healthy life is true happiness. But maximum of the population below the poverty line neglects their health due to financial instability. Understanding this, we organize regular Health Check Camps in reputed hospitals, providing free checkups, consultations, treatment, and medicines. Each camp serves over 200 patients, offering vital healthcare services to those in need. We are deeply grateful to the health professionals who selflessly support our cause, helping us improve the well-being of underserved communities without any expectation of personal gain.

Blood Donation Camp

Every year, over 12,000 patients die due to blood unavailability. As part of our health initiative, we organize blood donation camps to combat this critical issue. Recognizing the critical need of a stable supply of blood in blood banks or hospitals, we hold these camps regularly across Purulia, ensuring a steady blood supply. Collaborating with our members and local doctors, our camps contribute to saving lives in the community. By addressing the blood shortage, we aim to make a significant impact on public health and support those in urgent need.

Eye Check-up Camp

We conduct eye check-up camps with the support of dedicated eye specialists who provide free consultations and diagnose various vision issues for those in need. Patients are also provided with free spectacles according to their requirements, ensuring improved eye health. Reputed ophthalmologists and optometrists help us organize these camps effectively, making quality eye care accessible to underserved communities. Through this initiative, we aim to address vision-related problems and enhance the well-being of those who lack access to essential eye care services.

Panel Discussions and Talks on Educational Equity

Education is essential for building an informed and flourishing society. To promote educational equality, we are hosting an event where educators, policymakers, and social workers will discuss the challenges and solutions to achieving equitable education. Through prioritizing awareness, this initiatives collaboration and dialogue among key stakeholders, aiming to create a more inclusive education system. Together, we seek to drive meaningful change and ensure equal opportunities for all in education.

Educational Competitions or Hackathons

We host academic contests such as quiz competitions, coding hackathons, and science fairs to motivate students to excel and provide a platform to showcase their talents. These events encourage creativity, critical thinking, and innovation, helping students apply their knowledge in a competitive yet supportive environment. Our main aim is to inspire young minds to pursue excellence and develop skills that will benefit their academic and personal growth, fostering a love for learning and intellectual curiosity among participants.

Awareness Campaigns and Walkathons

Awareness enriches people with insights and guides them to make informed decisions. To highlight the importance of education, especially for marginalized communities, we organize public campaigns and walkathons. We mainly aim to engage the public and local authorities, fostering a collective commitment to educational equity. These campaigns encourage the community to prioritize education as a fundamental right and involve everyone in supporting initiatives that ensure access to quality learning for underserved children and their families.
